Greetings School Play participants!
We had a great first group meeting last Tuesday! Thank you to everyone who made it so much fun. Here's information for our upcoming meeting:
We will meet again from 12:00-1:00 this Tuesday after CD in the sanctuary or the middle school room, depending on accessibility. We will be breaking into smaller groups in the beginning as an improv warm-up. Next, we will do a read-through of the script that we've mostly finalized! We will also discuss casting and other production needs.
We won't be finalizing the cast until March 5th, so there is still time to sign up to participate! Tell your friends!
For those of you who missed the first meeting, here's a brief catch-up:
My mom Mrs. Allee and I led the group in a series of drama exercises and warm-ups. Everybody did such a great job! Nick Hansen-Sturm was a great co-chair, and acting partner for everyone. Nick's mom Mrs. Hansen-Sturm transcribed our two stories, which I have been adapting into a script.
My mom Mrs. Allee has made us an amazing website for our group, to keep all of us up to date. The address is CAVA Burbank CD Drama Club and it requires no social media sign-up or entering of your personal info. I highly recommend you visit the site. I'll be reposting emails there, and we will keep current info on the site. I will also still send this weekly email.
